Service Provided: Traffic Impact and Parking Management Study
Sahara Center is one of the leading commercial centers In Sharja, with a GLA of 750,000 sq. ft and it is strategically located on the Dubai Sharjah Highway.
Jouzy was commissioned by Bukhatir Properties International to carry out a Traffic Impact and Parking Management Study for Sahara Center and the East Gate development. The study covered a survey of 12 junctions, and a parking survey of 6 access points to the mall in addition to Origin-Destination survey for around 200 mall visitors.
The study analyzed the conditions and proposed mitigations to improve accessibility to and from Sharjah and Dubai – such as bridges, elevated U Turns, at grade improvements in addition to the improvement of the basement parking circulation.
