Dubai Motor City is a property development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates by Union Properties. Dubai Motor City, adjacent to Emirates road, offers a variety of motor vehicle related recreational uses and facilities, attracting tourism and local visitors to Dubai Land. The development generates around 20,000 trips related to residential communities, business towers, motor-sports facilities, retail and a theme park. A traffic impact study was done in 2005 by ATKINS. The main objectives of the traffic assessment study are to test different scenarios for a modified master plan with different land-use data. The assessment required the use of the old and new Trip generation manual in order to compare the scenarios and check the impact on the internal road network by analyzing new survey figures.
