Service Provided: Landscape Design
The landscape architectural elements are designed to reflect the rich culture and various stages of the Iraqi history and its transition. The view from outside the building shows beautiful green foliage of trees and a row of date palms in planters just behind the fence, but a more elaborate landscape is revealed upon entering the main gate to introduce an element of surprise and to maintain security.
Planting palms on the building planters resembles the famous Babylon hanging gardens. Engraved rocks on the side pathway begin with ancient writings resembling ancient Babylon civilization, then transition to Islamic culture by engraving a verse of the holy Quran. The last rock or modern board is a free column allowing visitors to write their comments, as a symbol of the people participating in their future destiny.
